I’m an Associate Professor of Computer Science at Boston
College. I'll be retiring from full-time employment at Boston
College at the end of the 2022 - 2023 academic year.
My research has related to the
reliability and performance of computer software. I
served as
Department Chair from 2001 through 2007 and Undergraduate
Program Director from 2016 through 2021.
I've taught a variety of courses in
the computer science curriculum. In the fall semester of
the 2022 – 2023 academic year I'll be teaching a new course
CSCI 1100 Gateway to Computer Science, meets Monday thru Thursday 2PM – 2:50PM, Stokes Hall North, Rm 215.
CSCI 1103 Computer Science 1 Honors, meets Tuesday and Thursday 12PM – 1:15PM, 245 Beacon St. Rm 125. This class runs concurrently with CSCI 2103 Functional Programming.
My office is in 245 Beacon St. Rm 508. Office hours for the fall semester are Tuesday 3PM – 5PM and Wednesday 4PM – 5PM.
